Legend of the Mountain isn't part of that trilogy. Come Drink With Me is.

Cool. I've not got that far yet! Watching Zen as we speak!
Oh, the earlier one. Yeah I skipped that. Good to know though.

End of topic since you named the best trilogy of all time.

The thread is about excellent trilogies, not the best trilogy, though, so the thread can continue I guess.

I've heard through the pipeline that it's better than its reputation suggests, so you may have.

Anyways, let's hear it for unofficial trilogies:

-Star Trek II-IV
-Roman Polanski's "apartment" trilogy (Repulsion, Rosemary's Baby, The Tenant)
-Terry Gilliam's "trilogy of Imagination" (Time Bandits, Brazil, Adventures of Baron Munchausen)
-Lars Von Trier's "depression" trilogy (Antichrist, Melancholia, Nymphomaniac)

Anyone else know any other ones? These are all I've got.

There's at least Fulci's Gates of Hell trilogy (City of the Living Dead, The Beyond, The House by the Cemetery).

I think the Taken trilogy with Liam Neesom is excellent and never got the acclaim it deserved.

Oh, and James Cameron's Avatar movies are on track to becoming an excellent trilogy, imo.
