Twin brothers comedy, French Police movie
 

I'm looking for a French or German crime comedy with a very distinctive plot: a policeman is injured (murdered?) and a decision is made to have his twin brother (actor?) replace him in an important investigation. I think it was about an undercover investigation. A film from around 2015.

Unfortunately, it isn't "The Pimp" or "Maximum Risk". The main character is a policeman or a detective, definitely. It was very similar plot to "Gun Hill" (2014).

In 2 Minutes Later (2007), which I have never seen, a twin is brought into help the police investigate the disappearance of his brother by posing as him. I asked on a french forum like this one, and all the answers I get were : "Le Mac" !

It is strange situation. I will check this again, but I am sure that main character was a cop, not a pimp.

Indeed in "The Mac" the main character must take the role of a pimp (activity of his twin brother, whom he did not know before), but with the aim of having a gangster captured (but he is not at aware of this either). His role should last 1 month. Indeed it may be a little different...

French? Comedy?
