The Tru Calling Thread
 

Has anyone here been watching the new show "Tru Calling?" I think there has been only seven episodes out so far, but I have become so addicted to the show. Unfortunately it airs the same time as "Friends" but I tape both shows in different VCRs and then watch one later.

I think the whole concept is really cool. The whole "reliving the day to save people" had the potential to be terrible... but I think the writers did a good job.

Plus I think the guy who plays Harrison is yummy... although he can be a bit of a tool sometimes.

Any other fans out there?

Since it's on a night I am usually busy, I have yet to catch it. I do however love me some eliza :D

Yeah I'm NEVER home on Thursday nights... which sucks because I have two shows that day... I'm lucky I can tape it. I only started watching because of Eliza (yeah she's always Faith to me too), but then I got hooked. If you are around or get the chance to tape it, I highly suggest it.

Yeah, I saw one episode of this and it seems really cool. I should set my VCR to tape it when I am at work. It's like Angel isn't all that good anymore, so this is the only Buffy related show worth watching now. I hope it stays on long enough to be a DVD set 'cause I'd buy it based on what I have seen of it. :D

Although this season of Angel is definitely...different. I still thionk it is top notch. I admit the first few episodes were rocky, with some bad dubbing, make-up and overall corn-ball situations, but I think it is REALLY getting into some cool stuff now. My girlfriend and I have been watching the Buffy DVDs recently and really, every season starts of a bit out-of-sorts with the universe. I think they warm up to the overstretching arc each season and never get into the meat of the story until about ep 6-7, or the end of the 2nd dvd in each applicable season.

When all is said and done this year, I think AtS will have logged another good season overall. If you don't like the show now because of Charisma issues (not your charisma silly, the actress), you're in the cc camp and will hate the show anyway. I have always found Cordy a funny, but small part of the buffyverse, so to me it's no big deal...

As for Tru Calling, as I am off-topic here, I will try and catch it soon, or get the dvd when they come out :)
