Question about the plot to Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.
I didn't understand one part of the movie where:
SPOILER The mother is looking for her daughter's killer, and a strange man shows up in the store, where she is and tells her that he may be the one who have killed her daughter. Later, a DNA test clears this man of the crime. However, why would the guy creep on her and lead her to believe he was the murderer, if he didn't do it, and doesn't even live in that state? Why travel all the way there, or whatever his reason is for going there, only to make her believe a lie, for what seems like no reason? |
Re: Question about the plot to Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missou
The implication to me seems to be that he got off on threatening and belittling women, not hard to understand when the film strongly implies he raped and murderer a woman whilst serving in the middle east.
