Kingsman: The Great Game
 

Matthew Vaughn is currently developing a new installment of the Kingsman franchise, with one little catch: Don't expect Taron Egerton to return as Eggsy...at least not yet.


The new film is actually a prequel that will revolve around the formation of the Kingsman agency. Currently cast are Harris Dickinson as Conrad, a teen determined to join the war and finds Ralph Fiennes as a mentor. Shooting is scheduled to begin in January for a November 9, 2019 release.



Vaughn said he plans to shoot both The Great Game and the sequel, which will bring Eggsy back, back-to-back!

Sounds like they're shaping up to rehash the first film (and X-Men: First Class) with a period setting, which definitely sounds like they're over-compensating for how poorly the second film went over with a lot of people.
