You are right. I fear the same thing....maybe...maybe....I mean...I really wish this could be good....We can only hope Paul W.S. Anderson will do a good job for a change.

you see I really hoped Riddley Scott or James Cameron would do this movie, but no newbie wack RE maker , seriously I hope they dont destroy this movie,this TItle is great , but this director is just ahhhh... hollywood is money hungry dumbasses.

I would have liked to see Cameron direct but oh well..Still whilst my hopes are not high, Event Horizon was a good movie, scarred the &%$ outta me so maybe he can recreate that with AVP.

I agree with everything that has being posted so far.
I was really disappointed with the resident evil movie, I guess I'll be disappointed by the AVP movie.
Man, Paul WS anderson why do you have to do this, do You take pleasure in disappointing people, in ruining what could have been great movies, well we'll see with AVP.....

I think we can all just quit hoping Cameron will make any other movies anymore. It seems that if it doesn't have something to do with sunken ships he's not interested anymore. Is it just me or is anyone sick with that fetish of his.
