Florence Henderson RIP

She did movies and theater, but was most famous for creating the role of the ultimate TV mom, Carol Brady, on The Brady Bunch, a role which was originally given to another actress. At the time Sherwood Schwartz was developing the show, Henderson was doing theater and was unavailable so actress Joyce Bulifant was cast as Carol Brady. When Henderson became available, Schwartz unceremoniously dumped Bulifant and the rest is history. Henderson was 82 years old.

RIP Florence. An underrated actress.

Oh heck, sad news indeed:(...I must have watched The Brady Bunch a zillion times when I was a kid, love that show. Florence was great.

Robert and Flo's, respectively, yes.
