Video Breakdown of All The Changes Made To STAR WARS Over The Years

I thought this was interesting as much as I despise everything about these changes lol...

I'm one of the few that is not bothered by most of the changes to A New Hope, except for Han Solo having a seizure and jerking his head to the side as Greedo shoots "first." :)
And the first "Han walking behind Jabba" which was really clunky.

I didn't mind the additions at Mos Eisley, like the establishing shot of Ben and Luke driving into the space port, because originally, it was fairly dry, with them just driving up. I like the added little robots, the Jawa hanging on to the creature's reins, replacing the wolfman with the smoking creature---I thought those were all fun additions. I liked the added CGI of the Falcon taking off from Mos Eisley. I thought it was mostly good.

This is just concerning the first film, so I need to watch the rest of the comparison videos here to see.

Honestly, I adore Star Wars, not just films but also games and books ( again not all of the books existing on the SW universe). I think that not all the changes should be despised, besides, we can always see the original versions :)

They missed edits to Beru's voice.

It's not just the scene where they add the word "your" while she's calling Luke...

The scene where she says "Owen he can't stay here forever, most of his friends have gone" they redubbed it with another actress. The words are the same, but she puts emphasis on different parts of the sentence.
Nobody else seems to have noticed, and it's a change I don't understand. Why redub, and only change the emphasis in parts of the sentence. The original sounded better too.

This was the major problem when they released the original versions on DVD a couple years back.

They aren't the originals. They still have a number of redubbed dialogue and edited scenes.
I've got the originals on VHS and they're totally different to the "original versions" that were released on DVD.
