July 8 (Preview Night)

Pilot screenings for “Supergirl,” “Blindspot,” “Containment” and “Lucifer”, along with a new episode of “Teen Titans Go!,” will take place from 6 p.m. in Ballroom 20.

I've been to the convention once like back in the 90's but that was it. It was awesome. Nowadays I just faithfully keep up with it. :)

Out of interest, how much to the tickets to this thing usually cost?

Prices range from $17 - $ 50. Maybe higher for certain details and events. I myself got in for free with my brother in law when I went. He had passes.

I wish it was actually still about comics and not TV and movies.

Aside from TV/Movie personality showcasings, there is a massive multitude of comic book tables, comic book artists and comic collectibles.

Yes, but it really has become more Hollywood every year. It does crowd out your average comics fan in favor of big celebrities, and it makes getting in almost impossible. I know I'm not the only person who feels like this is the case.

ComicCon is going to kick major ass this year....

Fans love to debate and dissect exactly what Hollywood is doing right and wrong. Now, for the first time at Comic-Con, the top production executives from major Hollywood studios will come together to discuss the frank realities of their jobs and why they make the decisions they do.
