Favorite Source for movie news or reviews?

Just curious if any members check out movie news sites or videos daily like I do. What movie reviewers do you like? Not just sites like Rotten Tomatoes or IMDB, I mean individuals or video reviews.
My favorite source by far is AMC movie talk.

I also love most shows from the Schmoes Knows movie channel. But the main "Schmoes Knows Movie Show" is my favorite. (Check out Guilty Movie Pleasures also)

As far as reviews go, my absolute favorite BY FAR is Chris Stuckmann. We have almost the exact same taste and I agree with almost all of his reviews. His movie analysis' are also fantastic.

If you're looking for funnier reviews or reviews of BAD movies, check out fanboyflicks, it's hilarious.

Basically here at MoFo for reviews and personal thoughts on a film. If I want details on the cast & crew I look at IMDB.

I usually come here... I've been here for almost 2 months now and I start to identify common tastes with some MoFo's... I also use the lists on http://icheckmovies.com, it's a great site!

Letterboxd. Following people that have a similar taste is the most effective way for me to find out movies I might want to check out.

IMDB is sorta rubbish, but occasionally it can be of some use. MUBI is pretty cool as well.

For serious reviews my favorite movie critic is Steven Greydanus at decentfilms.com I almost always agree with his views on films and even when I don't I think his points are really well argued. For comedic reviews nothing tops the Nostalgia Critic IMO.

15 years ago, I only knew about imdb.. When I started getting serious about movies, really serious, I went on craigslist, but it was bombarded with trolls, and someone on there told me about this side, and it's great, many have similar tastes.

If I had to pick a critic, I'd go with Pauline Kael.

This site is obviously great, but everybody here already knew that, I'm sure. :D

Beyond here, my favorite site for this sort of thing is The Escapist, especially the segments produced by Bob Chipman (aka, MovieBob) - Escape to the Movies and especially The Big Picture.

IMDB's great for looking up who worked on what movie and what else they've been in, but essentially nothing else. The forums are a non-entity riddled with trolls and their news is a bit scattered.

WARNING: "Not to blow my own horn, but..." spoilers below
I do a column for Unrealitymag.com every Friday. While not strictly a news or review site, they do include a lot of both. One of my favorite articles from there (before I came aboard) was one that compared Breaking Bad to The Godfather. Another favorite of mine was a link to another website's article about how The Avengers Is the Best TV Show in Movie Theatres. So far they've all been film and TV reviews, but I've been talking to the site owner about branching out to other articles as well. A link to my most recent article is in my signature.

I also like to think that my blog contains some really high-quality reviews. I has been consistantly updated every week day and will soon be updated on a truly daily basis. As above, a link to the most recent posts are in my signature

Re: Favorite Source for movie news or reviews?

I used to devour a lot of movie news, but as the years go by I care about the latest tidbit less and less. Anything particularly awesome or important finds its way here one way or another, so that's usually enough for me. I'll make an exception for sub-mainstream projects or ones I'm especially interested in, but those are pretty rare.

I used to follow Roger Ebert pretty religiously, but unfortunately he passed away.

Ropeofsilicon, theplaylist and thefilmstage for reviews and articles. Also look at letterboxd quite a lot for reviews and discovering new movies, plus imdb normally for casting.
