What's your favourite album from the "Me" decade?

Of those in the poll, The Joshua Tree.

But really my favorites would be Tom Petty's Southern Accents (and all other Petty albums released that decade), Traveling Wilburys Volume 1, and Lindsey Buckingham's Go Insane.

Beyond that, most of the 80s music I listen to are cheesy pop hits from people nobody really cares about anymore like Men Without Hats, Rockwell, Berlin and the like.

Some Smiths, Pixies, Replacements, R.E.M. or Prince album. I'm not a big Michael Jackson fan but surprised he's not included.

Of those on offer, it's Madonna's Like A Virgin, which I remember buying.

However, my own best of the 80's is pretty easy.

I had a copy of Like a Virgin on cassette tape. Same with Born in the U.S.A. and several others, too.

Yeah, Pixies released Doolittle in the 80's. REM were at their best, Dinosaur Jr were kiking about. Micahel Jackson, Prince, Public Enemy, The Cure. This list is more glaring omissions than anything else.
