Chinese Olympic swimmers!
How would this young girl China’s Ye Shiwen be better then Ryan Lochte in last 100metre freestyle in the Medley? I know why!! She's a cheat and China doesn't care at all! They want supremacy, anyway at all! Jesus! God only knows what drugs they give the young girls, boys, Women, Men!!!

Re: Chinese Olympic swimmers!
A typical hypocritical remark. These Chinese athletes have put in an impossible amount of hard work in their trainings and have such humility and respect. To proclaim something so preposterous as the "Chinese are cheats and untrustworthy" reflects your inherent prejudices against the Chinese people; a knee-jerk reaction to your unhappiness with the outcome of the Games.
Quit being so childish. China dominates. End of story. |
Re: Chinese Olympic swimmers!
I hope they aren't cheats :yup:

I was under the impression that anyone who wins an Olympic Gold is immediately tested for doping. As nothing has come out, a couple days after the fact, it would seem that such an accusation is unfounded. Sure we could speculate about some sort of Chinese super drug that is not detectable or some other nefarious practises, but that would be just that because you have no proof and as it was said above it just makes you look bitter.
How about we give them the benefit of the doubt and take it as a given that the Chinese take the Olympics incredibly seriously and have an incredibly large pool of people of which to choose from in order to find the kind of talent they have, until some actual evidence of wrong doing comes to light. How about we do that for every nation that wins Gold at these Olympics. |
Re: Chinese Olympic swimmers!
I think it's more that some people can't stand a 16 year old girl was faster than a man and using 'drugs' as their excuse instead. :p
Can anyone find a video of her in the race, all I'm getting is videos on the doping stuff. |
Re: Chinese Olympic swimmers!
I can give them the benefit :yup: would like to see the race also :yup:

Re: Chinese Olympic swimmers!
She's been passed by the drug testers. Her results are clean, she simply is that good at swimming.
It's not hard to believe that a youngster can beat adult records in sports. When I was about 13 years old, I was competing in the 100 metre sprint for my school. Bearing in mind Usain Bolt holds the current world record at 9.58 seconds... when I was 13 years old (back in 1995) I could hit the 100 metre mark in about 12 seconds. Can a little Chinese girl beat a world record? Of course she can. |

Re: Chinese Olympic swimmers!
There are ways to beat those drug tests.
|
Has she been caught cheating? No. Has she passed that testing? I presume so. And with that you have to let the matter drop, but stay vigilant.
We all suspect that there's plenty of drugs in sport. Some mask it, others aren't yet detectable, while some just get lucky. The truth is you can never be sure, you can only continue to improve the testing and increase its frequency. However, unless they're proven to be cheating, you either go with them all being innocent or suspect every athlete, regardless of performance. After all, I'm sure there are plenty of athletes using drugs just to compete and qualify, let alone win medals. |
I think she's probably on it. Ye came out of the blue and swam a time she never before even got near to. She swam 4 or 5 seconds faster than she ever did. It's one thing to break the WR when you got close to it in the past, but to pop out of the blue, ridiculize all of the other finalists, break the WR and even put the elite amongst the men to shame in the last 50m is unheard of.
Genetical doping comes to mind. She might not even be aware of it. |
Re: Chinese Olympic swimmers!
Ah, this is why I don't watch the Olympics - besides the beginning ceremony.
|
Re: Chinese Olympic swimmers!
Lance Armstrong did doping...we know that! Most elite cyclist do! I'll crucified for me saying that, but that's the facts. I've heard reports, other cyclists know he did it!

Quit being so childish. China dominates. End of story. What happen about 10 years ago with the swimmers from China? Do you know? |

Re: Chinese Olympic swimmers!
I like how when people are immediately accused of racism or prejudice their first response is always "I know Chinese, black, and/or Mexican people!"
