Directed by the man who made the excellent Australian film The Proposition(Lawless is also adapted by the same man who wrote The Proposition, Nick Cave), so we know he can handle this kind of film(he also directed The Road):

I could do without Shia LaBeouf, but can't wait to see Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Jessica Chastain and Guy Pearce. It's also going to be competing to win the Palme d'Or at Cannes next month.

Along with Red Lights, This is probably another movie I am most looking forward to this year.

LaBeouf isn't that bad in my opinion, he's a young actor himself and he's working on improving.

Well I loved The Road and The Proposition. Nick Cave is apparently a good writer, too. Shia looks a little out-of-place, but I expect he'll turn out better than I think.

I've been looking forward to this for a long time now. The Proposition was fantastic. I am a huge fan of Guy Pearce and there are no words for how much I love Nick Cave.

I'm in agreement that they should have kept the original name. Oh well, they can call it whatever they want. I have full confidence that this is going to be good.

Looks pretty good. Not sure why people are weary of Shia. He is a solid young actor who is getting better with each role. Maybe I am standing up for him because I loved Even Stevens. Oh well.

It has a 70% on Rotten Tomatoes right now. Shia got top billing over Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman and Guy Pearce. So he must be the star of this movie.
