What's the movie title of this one? (chinese american family going to china)
 

I watched this movie years ago but can't remember its name, which is important since I want to see it again. Here is a description:

A 1st generation Chinese family lives in America. The son plays ping pong, he's a bit of a jock, and is having issues with his dad. I think he has a girlfriend.

The family goes to China, for some reason, to visit, and the film really starts. It's about the relationships between the younger generation vs older generation/traditional values.

The father ends up taking on Tai Chi, and learns from the grandfather, and the son enters a ping pong tournament but loses.

All in all the movie is about family values, and father son stuff.

Does this ring a bell to anyone? I'd like to see it again.

No, not that one. It's older, like from the 80's or 90's

Not quite too sure either.. but Ping Pong Playa was pretty funny.
