Joaquin Phoenix's Best Performance?

This disappoints me. He was an extremely talented actor. In your opinion, what was his best performance?

Anyway, I still haven't seen a few of his movies, but out of the ones I have, I think Joaquin's performance as Johnny Cash in Walk the Line was awesome...

I thought he was great in Walk the Line, and Gladiator.

Walk the Line is right up there! But i'm gonna go out with a bang and remind everyone of his childhood acting days - Parenthood, as the disturbed puberty-stricken son Gary. Cracks me up!

Signs and The Village are my favorite of his. Signs particularly, it ranks high on my favorite films list. Oh, and I'm a whore for Shyamalan. :P

He's good in pretty much everything but his performance in Gladiator is just glorious.
