Zombie films have certainly been the craze the last several years. Just say the new Day of the Dead.

Going a bit off topic, but turning anime series into live-action movies have been the latest craze also. Theirs Ghost in the Shell, Cowboy Bepop, Akira, Neon Genesis Evangelion (but Eva is in devolopment hell so I doubt it's ever going to happen) and more all being turned into live-action.

Next thing you know, there'll be a live-action Pokémon in the works.

I like good zombie films but there has been a lot of bad ones made lately, climbing on a successful bandwagon. I liked the Night of the Living Dead series.


I'd love to see a live action Akira. That would really be something. I saw a live action Dragon Ball many years ago and that was awful.

I hate to say this but the U.S. is making a live-version of Dragon Ball :bored:

I'm not a fan of the series, but I believe this one should have stayed animated because if this film that comes out in 2009 is a hit, the producers will be able to milk this franchise yet again. To me its a sad and vicious cycle. LOL
