Grudge 2???
 

Sitting here wondering...What should I expect form
The Grudge 2? The first had good graphics but a story that
technically was original, yet it feels like I've heard it before-
Ya know?

But, if it is true that a handful a scenes can make or break a movie then it stands to chance that it might be worth watching.

However if anyone has heard anything...I'm listening...

I dont really know what to expect. One poorly done moment in a movie can turn me off of that ant.

Well seeing how The Grudge was a remake of the Japanese movie, by the same director. There's a good chance you've heard the story before. :D

Yes, the story is somewhat unoriginal, but these days, what isn't.

I heard Amber Tamblyn's in it - I really like her a lot. Is Sarah Michelle Gellar coming back for any of it?

Sarah Michelle Gellar is returning, but from what I understand, her part in it is very short, because eventually, well...you know what's going to happen.

yes, Amber Tamblyn is in it, she is playing Sarah Michell Gellar's sister. Not her real one of course. :D

Yeah, I never did get why that ghoul with the grudge continued to allow her to live in the first place for so long anyways.

American remakes of Japanese films are like trying to make logic out of illogic which just makes things less...logical.

In other words find Jun-on and see it, then you will know precisely the meaning of suck, in English its name is "remake."

They all eventually suck. Take The Ring for example. In Japan, it's had at least 4 sequels. In America, the second one wasn't great. Somewhere in the transfer from Japan to America the format gets lots in translation.

I enjoyed The Ring over the Japanese version, however the sequel was just terrible. As much as I wanted to buy it to add to the first, I just couldnt bring myself to do it.

The grudge was a great movie. It had all the thrills to make girls cry. I've seen the trailer to grudge 2 on youtube. It looks better than the first one (that opinion, however, is coming from someone who enjoyed the first).

Grudge 2 is going to be better than the first one, It ain't difficult to improve on nothing!

Boo! The first one wasnt very good. I don't really know why they are making a second one or what they are planning to do to make it into a decent movie. But, like Diamondgeeza said, its not difficult to improve when your already at rock bottom. Maybe it will be alright...
