Streets of Rage - Video Game to Become Movie
 

Hot on the heels of the Sonic movies, SEGA has announced that "John Wick" creator Derek Kolstad has written a spec script based on the beat em' up side scroller "Streets of Rage", which involves three ex-cops trained in martial arts taking on a crime syndicate.

That's pretty cool. Streets of Rage has been one of my favorite Sega franchises, aside from Shining Force and Sonic the Hedgehog. It sounds like it might be really action packed, just like in the games.

While I can't say Streets of Rage was a big part of my childhood, I will gladly welcome any classic Sega adaptations. Now if only they'd bring back Vectorman.
