Star Trek
 

I know I haven't been here for a while. I've been on a massive music binge for a while, hanging out at Besteveralbums, but recently I've been watching Star Trek, Star Trek: The Next Generation, and the movies out of order. I wanna talk Star Trek with people.


IMO, the best of the movies (I need to watch the others again to compare them all properly) is First Contact. It has better plotting and fantastic direction from Frakes.

I think I'd agree, I really like First Contact. Great mix of whimsy and wonder, a way to fill in the back story of the world in a way that still has stakes. You've got your usual time travel paradox stuff but if you can roll with that it's a great time.
