Seeing the name the actress with pic game has now become popular here is the male equivalent.

First post. A Brit A lister.

He also played Inspector Gideon in Gideon Of Scotland Yard which may be one of the more minor films on his cv (but a nice one) and is why I was amused :)

It is not widely know but Jack had to reinvent his career after he had throat surgery. Basicly had to learn how to speak again.

Musicals are my least enjoyable film genre. Except Sound of Music. He looks foreign. Is he? Would he be playing Gershwin or Ziegfeld perhaps. Both of whom were sons of immigrants.?

I don't recognize what movie that is from, but just tonight I watched The King and I and I swear that was the actor who played the King's advisor, Martin Benson.

No, MASH was not on during the 1960's...the movie wasn't released until 1970.

I recall this guy in McHales Navy too. At least I think it is same person. Forgotten his name.

Wish I knew whether it is McHale's Navy. Looks like the show had a cast of thousands.

Clarence Williams from the Mod Squad a show I never really liked but did watch it as a kid. He looks a bit like Samuel L Jackson.

Yes you did. Show was not Mod Squad. Earlier. Started in black & white format in the 60s. You must have seen his face. When I submitted the pic it had gone. Baffling.

He guest starred on just about every TV show on the air in the 1960's and had a regular role on a series called Honey West.

I guess no one knows this. He did some movies in the 60's and tv guest spots in the 70's. He was in Gidget Goes Hawaiin with Deborah Walley.
