Looking to buy a projector.

I am building a screening room in my home. I am not all that tech savvy and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a projector to buy. The wall I am projecting on is 10 feet wide and I can put the projector as far as 17 feet back. I'd like to spend maybe $800 at the most, but I am looking for the best quality and the ability to project the full 10 feet wide.

I am selling brand new projector. It supports HD, a lot of inputs and outputs. It can project on more then 20 feet wide.

You MAY be able to get a projector for $800 but most decent HD ones will run you close to $1,000. But then again, a nice projector won't mean anything if you don't have a decent silver screen to project onto.

Are you planning to buy a projector screen? And does that factor into the $800 or is that a separate expense.

Why? Did they give you a dud bulb?
