What are these to movies?
 

The first movie is a Christmas movie that starts with a young man or woman watching a falling star, then the rest of the movie has Christmas songs with animated scenes put to them. The only two songs I remember are 'I saw Three Ships' and 'Good King Whenceles'.

The second movie is about a mine cave-in. This was a Canadian movie (I think) and after the mine caves in, they are trapped there for at least a couple days, and they are doing their best to survive. Eventually, rescuers discover a pipe leading down to where the men are and they send food and water down the pipe until they are rescued.
