That was a curious remark. Make your list, man. Show what you like listening to. It's always a good way for peeps to find new stuff.
Seems like these tournaments only deal with either being in love or being deeply depressed anymore. |

When really, they should deal with sexy celebrities!

Well.... maybe. I do wish this would start sooner, though. When I saw the "Sad Songs" tournament start, I thought, oh god......
Seems like these tournaments only deal with either being in love or being deeply depressed anymore. 1 - a sad song is only sad to the person who listens to it and relates to it [what makes me sad, doesn't make you sad necessarily and vice versa]. 2 - Most "commercial songs" do deal with heartbreak and general sadness. That's why I prefer the instrumentals [the "real" sad songs are designed to portray that emotion in the way they are composed and executed instead via vocals alone - Ex: Albinonis Adagio - although you also have beautifully composed classical songs who have the aid - and I will emphasize "aid" - of lyrics to better express that composition - ex: Goreki Symphony of Sorrowful Songs ]. but in the end, it's all about how the instruments play with each other in the composition than anything else. |
