78th Venice Film Festival
 
This prestigious film festival (one of the big 3, along with Berlin and Cannes) will run this September 1-11.

Like the afore mentioned festivals, along with Sundance and Locarno (which just finished up btw), there are always films that emerge that are worth keeping an eye on.

Notably, playing out of competition, will be the following:
Dune
Last Night in Soho
The Last Duel
Halloween Kills

Among others.

Roberto Benigni and Jaime Lee Curtis will both receive the Golden Lion lifetime awards as recognition for their contribution to film industry.
