Psion 06-09-04 08:57 PM

Citizen Kane Special Edition cause it was a great movie i loved it.

LTwedge 06-09-04 09:03 PM

Hmm...I think it was Helter Skelter. I bought it because I really liked the new one that came on TV and I wanted to check out the old one too.

Krackalackin 06-09-04 10:38 PM

yup

The last two I bought were Family Guy, season 3 and Pulp Fiction. To tell you the truth, I never saw Pulp Fiction when I bought it and man, I wasn't dissapointed at all. I thought it was a great movie. And most movies I see, I don't call them great movies. It was provocative, clever, original, witty, interesting and it had real passion in it. I'd recommend the movie to most anyone and If you haven't seen it, you should. You'll enjoy it immensely from start to finish.

One of my favorite all time TV shows.

Sidewinder 06-09-04 11:58 PM

The Untouchables. :)

Trust_ritchie 06-10-04 03:25 AM

The last movie I bought was 5.99 new at Blockbuster (so I was taking a chance on this one). It was called Dog Soldiers, and I actually enjoyed it. It was a British mix of Predator and the Howling. I would recommend atleast checking it out. I liked it and I'm not even a huge horror fan.

The Taxi Driver 06-12-04 09:18 PM

Reservoir dogs because i love that movie. besides pulp fiction its tarantinos best movie

http://www.dng.idv.tw/dvdreviews/200...rvoir_dogs.jpg

Garrett 06-13-04 03:30 AM

Bubba Ho-Tep ... because Bruce Campbell kicks ass and it's the best Elvis based movie around.

Godsend 06-13-04 05:03 PM

Underworld

Because I honestly beleive this is one of the greatest action/thriller movies ever made...you'd think it'd be pure gore because of the subject of Vampires and Werewolves, but they prove you wrong. The feeling is great as you watch it. The color of the movie is dark and goes well with the title and the overall feeling.

Psion 06-13-04 06:48 PM

Underworld was great which one you get? Extended Cut? I think Kate Beckinsale is really hot got a poster of her in Van Helsing off ebay. SeXy Purp Lips. Van helsing was ok too. But i liked Underworld Better

The Taxi Driver 06-13-04 07:06 PM

i still havent seen underworld. i will be sure to rent it now.

Escape 06-14-04 09:57 PM

He means the unrated, raunchier version of Bad Santa, which on the DVD box and television commercials is being marketed as Badder Santa.

I have no idea, the DVD doesn't street until Tuesday. I would guess more cursing, more sexual situatuions, and just more badness in general.

Psycho 06-23-04 02:06 AM

Ash_Lee 07-09-04 11:41 AM

Open Range: To see what the fuss was about. Very good film, and could reignite Costner's Career as a director.
X-Men 2: Loved the first film so I wanted to get this. Fun to watch but slower paced than X1.
Resident Evil: Again to see what the fuss wa about, and again a very good film. Loved the red dress, leather jacket and tall boots look :p

Tazz 07-09-04 02:48 PM

Tolstoy 07-10-04 07:16 AM

Last movie I bought was American Splendor, because I was smart and waited for it to go to 6.99 previously viewed on dvd. Tough choice between renting some stupid movie or buying a great movie.

I have gone pretty lax on my dvd buying days, I was up to a point where I was buying 3-4 dvds a week, and my dvd collection grew to about 400 from 100 in a couple months. Now I dont really find anything I really care to own unless I find a new Criterion Collection DVD at a store.

Tazz 07-10-04 02:21 PM

American Splendor was pretty good. Get your Theater System yet Tolstoy? I rent my movies before i buy'em. If its good enough to buy i'll buy it. But before i use to buy 1 new release a week i had like 100 dvds. i sold the ones i didnt want on eBay got good prices now i have like 30 dvds. the last dvd i bought was the Godfather. The NExt One i want to buy is Dead Like me. I rented the some kind of dvd. well the only episode i saw was the exploit. it was funny. Thx to Jrs i would have never probably heard of it.

Tazz 07-11-04 02:22 AM

Boy, if I knew you I would have gladly given you mine. I bought it anticipating something great cause of all good reviews that surrounded it, that I couldn't believe my eyes when I finally watched it. I was so disappointed. The latest version however I quite enjoyed. :D

The Taxi Driver 07-11-04 06:27 PM

im usually a classic guy but i did enjoy the remake a little more. but the original did have a great blend of action, horror and comedy. it was a little more lighthearted than the remake. but i did enjoy both of them alot.
