I think the scene is going on at the beginning of the movie when an old man speaks abnormally vulgar in the plenty of sober people. It looks like somebody is blackmailing him to do that.
I can not remember more than that.

I think this is "13 Sins" (2014). The old man tells a couple of dirty jokes to a formal gathering then proceeds to cut his wife's fingers off.
