Overweight lady being lifted by crane from her apartment

Hi everybody! I try to remember a movie title for like a year now and it drives me mad! Hope you can help me.

I think this is not an underground movie and the release period must be 1980-2000... I just know that the hero is a male and there is a subplot involving him visiting a very overweight lady, living in her apartment without leaving her bed. She has a heart condition and must go to the hospital. She can't walk and the only way is to move her bed out her window by crane. But she's really afraid of heights and wonders if, maybe, she prefers to let herself die in her flat.

At the end, the hero is walking on the street and sees her in her bed, being transported by a crane. It's like a joyful moment where she has overcome her fears and screams something like 'I did it!'.

I think this is really not a central event in the story, that's why it's so hard to remember the all movie. Thank you very much !

Oh geez, I remember this. I think it might've been a TV show? Racking my brain...

Yes, that's a TV show! That's actually in the 9th episode of "The Young Pope"!

I was sure it was a movie but you suggestion just unlocked my brain! Thank you!

Oh wow. I saw that in one of the search results but I didn't think that was it!

Glad to help. :)

She actually doesn't say "I did it!" but "Put me back", which is kind of the opposite ;)
