Any fans of him of here? He's one of the directors who best celebrates the craziness, complexity and wonder of life. Always manages to create characters that continue resting in your mind after the movie is over. My favorite so far is The Dinner, but Macaroni deserves more attention as well. Love the chemistry between Jack Lemmon and Marcello Mastroianni.

His films make me feel really warm and nice inside, sometimes moved as well. On top of that he has a natural talent for character-based comedy, especially in The Family.
