I’m thinking about a French art house horror film. The title starts from the letter ‘A’ and sounds something like ‘Amar’ (but it’s definitely something else). Made around 2009 (but not the 2009 romance film ‘Amar’). I realise that’s not helpful.

Nothing much happens, a young woman arrives at a huge neglected-looking mansion wearing sunglasses and a coloured scarf over her hair, there are contrasting visuals that feel a bit like ‘A Bigger Splash’. She unlocks the mansion... and nothing much happens in the film other than that. There’s also a scene where she lies in the bath and she feels a presence and starts bleeding, or something like that, but it’s shot in a non-horror, artsy manner. I saw it around the time it was released, so don’t remember much else. Not a violent film at all, ‘A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night’-type. I’m quite sure it’s French.
