This feels so unnecessary. Sheridan is writing again, so fingers crossed for something more than the cheap Netflix original look the trailer had.

I think my biggest issue is with pushing Alejandro to the forefront. He’s an enigma, a ticking time bomb that went off. What’s left?

Weird that this sequel will almost certainly be better without the main character from part one. Can't think of many other examples of this happening.

Love Emily Blunt but her character was a pest.

Ehhh this is a shock, I didn’t think this would ever spawn a sequel and it looks like a different genre to the original (which I loved including E Blunts character, best film of 2015) Looks like an action film. Different director which is concerning. Not sure what to think really. Hopefully it’s awesome haha.

Taylor Sheridan has not had a miss yet as a writer, but this is the first one of his that makes me a bit nervous after watching the trailers.

Appreciate the heads-up on the trailer, because I definitely would have watched it otherwise, and definitely won't now. Think I managed to only see/remember one of the things you mentioned, so not too bad.
