It's weird for me, cause I love Denzel Washington, but I honestly don't believe he deserved the oscar for Training Day. Sure, it was a solid performance (as all his performances are) but I didn't think it was oscar worthy.

I do believe though that he was robbed for The Hurricane.

And I know I'm by myself when I say that Man on Fire was a performance for the ages.

Book of Eli was great, and yeah I still have to see Malcom X as well, I had it rented one week, but I just never found the time to watch it. The Hurricane I haven't seen it in so long is probably why it slipped my mind, it definitely is one of his best performances I have ever seen.

Only actually seen Crimson Tide and The Book of Eli, both which I found enjoyable films. Crimson Tide is the superior though, Washington and Hackman are great together in that film.
