I don't see how to unsubscribe from birthday emails

I just read this site's happy birthday email. I don't need this. There's no unsubscribe link. About a dozen websites send me this now with no unsubscribe link and no apparent way to stop them. Eventually my inbox is going to be nothing but happy birthday emails. Why are we given no way to stop them?! Eventually my filters are going to be mostly happy birthday email routing. Please, give us a way to disable this feature!!

I can't speak for every other site (and I get the same barrage on my birthday each year), but I imagine removing your birthday from your profile should do it. Or possibly just checking the option that says not to display it (not sure about that one, though).

If not, there are other options in your profile to not ever receive emails from the site, for example. That might be overkill, since you might still want those, but that should work, too.

So dramatic! I find birthday emails rather endearing :)

Yeah, and only once a year. Not really a big problem, to my mind, but it's a fair question.

Don't add your bday to your profile. I never knew you could get bday emails.

I actually know your birthday but just didn't want yours to be happy.
