Movie You're Watching Tonight
 

Simple enough; what film do you plan on seeing tonight, and what are your expectations? I'm watching The Eiger Sanction, and being a Clint fan I'm hoping it'll be good. I might check out Taxi Driver as well, if I have time, which I have veeerrrry high hopes for.

I'll finish Thor and then I think I'll check out either La Grande Illusion or another episode of Breaking Bad. Depends on what time it is.

I'm going to finish watching Babel. In the first half of what I've seen, it does darg a bit, but it's very emotionally sincere and the always reliable Brad Pitt is solid.

Watched first half of Dr Zhivago today and may try to watch some of the second half tonight. It's gripping but a little confusing at times.

I rented Pan's Labyrinth & The Hitcher (1986) so I'm going to try to get into those, or I might watch The Lives Of Others again.

The Hitcher is fantastic. Not sure what it is all supposed to mean but Rutger Hauer is great. He is like the Joker.

The King Of Comedy. Hoping to see another Scorsese masterpiece.

I really liked the movie, and I've never seen an actual vampire movie. It was very different from the movies I normally watch. The cast was great, I think. I haven't read the books, but three years ago a friend told me about them and the movie, so I thought now was the time to watch it :p

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (Swedish version). Saw it once last night, and I thought it was great. It followed the novel very closely apart from a few switched details here and there.

^ They have released the uncut versions of all three films here, much longer than the original cinema releases. Thinking of getting them.

I will be watching Thor tonight, at my cinema they only had the 3D version for some reason and can't stand 3D, so got it out on 2D blu-ray for tonight.

Going to watch "The Next Three Days". Heard it's good... Hope so...

We are trying to get through Hesher but we have a 5 year old. Every time we get into it he runs into the room. The movie so far seems really interesting but we are watching it in slow motion.

Good movie, not great. I prefered The Chaser, though that's not a great movie either.

I thought The Chaser was merely decent. Too by-the-book, and while one could argue that about this film too it still has a lot of the tension and charm that pulls you through it, and really that's what I like about the Korean stuff; it's in between the quirkiness of Japanese films and the suspense of British stuff.

Love that movie. The Stalone remake wasn't as good.

I like your taste. Also reccomend Greenstreet Hooligans I and II.

When you finish it, watch War And Rememberance. I read both books by Herman Wouk and really enoyed the film versions.

One of my favorite Korean movies. I also reccomend H, Address Unknown, Friend, Old Boy.

See " I Saw The Devil " and tell me what you think.

Love Clint. Have all his movies. Like him even better as a director.
