TV TRIVIA
OK, we have Movie Trivia (in fact, several different threads), so I will start a TV TRIVIA thread. In fact, it is the latest round of "Name the Actor" that inspires me to pose the 1st question.
Which manufacturer built the Addams Family's grand harpsichord (i.e. the one that Lurch always played)? |
Re: TV TRIVIA
Ok Fluff seeing as tho your participate in my games I will kick off your new one. Steinway & Sons? Is Fluff ok with you? My nickname is Spookie by the way.

Unfortunately, it is not Steinway & Sons. Remember this is the "Addams Family" were talking about.. :D Hint: They did a whole episode about it. Someone heard Lurch playing and wanted to buy the harpsichord... much to Lurch's dismay. They finally were able to replicate it, and the crowning feature was Uncle Fester sticking the label of the mfgr. on the harpsichord... this to assure Lurch of its "authenticity." |
I'm going to go ahead and give you this one, Spookie, Your turn. I'm not sure when/if I'll be on tomorrow. I hope to get on tomorrow afternoon or evening. Hopefully, we won't lose power or Internet Access.
The harpsichord brand was "Krupnik." https://i.imgur.com/ZYzDKnt.jpg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sFRKxYEiSeU |

A 1928 Porter, (maybe a 1929, but I think it was a 1928). (By coincidence, I just watched the first few episodes of that show a few days ago.) |

Here's a good one, considering the President's affiliation with TV game/reality shows. There was, in fact, a 1960's game show filmed very much near his Mar-a-Lago estate.

Alec Baldwin's "TV debut" was *not* Cutter to Houston (1983), but as the character Billy Aldrich in the daily soap opera, "The Doctors" (1980-1982).: |

Fred was played in most of the "Flintstones" series (and in the Pebbles and Bam Bam show) by Alan Reed. Mr. Ed was voiced by Allan Lane. |

OK, here's an "Australian" themed TV Trivia question.
The series, "The Crocodile Hunter" series featured the late Steve Irwin. It was shown in the USA on the "Discovery Channel." But, before it was a series, Steve had done a few specials for the Discovery Chanel, one of which featured the "Ten most Venomous Snakes...." all of which, the show claimed are located in Australia. Name each of the 10 deadliest Snakes featured on the show, starting with #10. |
Re: TV TRIVIA
My computer crashed FL3. Sorry about that. You are kidding. I may be able to name the snakes but not in order of deadliness. Taipan, Death Adder, Black snake, brown snake.several varieties.Think there is a Tiger Snake. That is all. The Taipan is the most venomous.

10) Western Brown (near Darwin, Northern Territory) 09) Death Adder 08) Giant Tiger Snake (Mt. Chappel Island, near Tasmania). 07) Western Tiger Snake (Perth) 06) Beaked Sea Snake (GBR) 05) Tiger Snake, Reevsby Island (near Adelade) 04) Eastern Tiger Snake, Great Dividing Range 03) Taipan (costal) 02) Eastern Brown (Common Brown) 01) Fierce Snake (Inland Taipan) When I visited Australia Zoo, I did have a conversation With Wes, Steve's right hand man (at the time). I asked him which of these 10 did he consider to be the most dangerous to human populations? It isn't necessarily the most venomous (Fierce Snake) since it's very docile and way out in the Outback, etc. Wes believed the most dangerous to be the "Coastal Taipan." Your turn. |
