American action movie from around 1980
 

I am trying to find a movie I saw around 1980 when it was new. It was about a group of young people who was camping or hiking. They were harassed and killed by some rednecks. In the end of the movie the surviving camper/hiker drove into town with dead rednecks on the bed of his truck. Unfortunately I do not remember any more details.

No, it's not any of those movies. It is not a horror movie with supernatural features. It is more of an action movie in the the style of Deliverance. Most of the action takes place out in the bush on foot.

In the first part of the movie I think the campers/hikers made a stop in a small town and bought supplies. In that town they made some rednecks angry. The rednecks then trailed, harassed and killed the campers/hikers. In the end of the movie the surviving camper/hiker drove back to the same town with the dead bodies.

Hunter's Blood is the right kind, very good suggestion, but not the one I had in mind.

Southern Comfort is also a good guess but not it.

Octagon does not seem to be it, not the same kind of movie.

Terminator isn't right either, wrong type.
