Well I've made it onto the banner, so a ranking is looking hopeful! :lol:

But trying to make a list is a lot more difficult than I thought it would be, thank god it's not for some time, because at this rate it'll be weeks before I make one that I'm happy with!

Good idea, In a few months people might forget so I like your idea of a mass PM. Do you have a master list for PMing all the MoFos? If so you might share it with Raul when it's time for him to do the 1950s Top 100 Countdown.

Will the 1 pointers be revealed prior to the countdown?

I don't expect to rank anywhere near as high as I did last year. There have been some great new Mofos who joined this year, and I've been less active recently due to a busier than normal schedule.

Add in the problems I caused in the HoFs and song tournaments, and I'll be lucky to make the list at all this year. :skeptical:

I meant to respond to this earlier but I was at work and posting on the sly.

I don't have a master list. For the Animation Countdown I made up a list off the top of my head well in advance and added to it as I saw people online that I hadn't thought of previously. But that list has since been deleted. It wouldn't be much use anyway, since that was over a year ago and we've gotten new members since then.

Also, I forgot to mention in the rules that once lists are submitted to me, I won't allow any changes except in the case of errors (such as if the same MoFo is listed twice on a ballot or if numbers are skipped, etc).

What you should do is raise them to the #0 position, so that they'll be higher than everyone else and at the same time not be included on the list. :p

Nope. You don't get to see it in advance.

I think you're being somewhat rude asking to be left out. The biggest reason is because you might encourage others to ask to be left out, and if a lot of people did that, the list wouldn't look honest. It wouldn't reflect the truth about everyone. And doing this Countdown takes a lot of work, so it would be sh*tty to do that and get inaccurate results.

ALSO I am against Miss Vicky's NEW discriminating rule that alternate accounts cannot be included. As the person who ran both 1 and 2 of these, and created it, that was NOT my rule. My alts made the lists and I thought it was funny. I encourage everyone to include alts they enjoy and if Miss Vicky asks you to change the list, refuse. I am going to take off that rule from the first post, in fact. I think it is a... bitchy request from her and I'm not cool with it.

One thing I think about requests being made to be left out, is that not everybody is going to see said requests, rendering them somewhat pointless.

I excluded alternate accounts because I think it would feel pretty sh!tty to be someone who is an active member of the boards and not make the countdown while someone else made the list multiple times with alias accounts.

I don't think it's rude to want to be excluded. It's perfectly understandable that a popularity contest might make people uncomfortable and hurt some feelings.

I'm not sure there's really a lot lost if the results are "inaccurate." These are for fun, yeah? They're not really for posterity.

I see your point and I don't wanna micromanage, but that new rule does bother me, 'cause I didn't have it before. The alts exist. Okay? I don't even think of them as me or the person they really are. They're for entertainment and if they're better than someone who is not an alt... tough for them. Okay? Those people should stand out more to get a better placement. I don't feel sorry for people if they don't make the list. That's too bad.

How about this: SC's other accounts get a Honorary Achievement Award before/during or after the Countdown....but they are not on the actual countdown itself.

This way SC gets the limelight that he craves, while not having his other accounts clog up the actual countdown. :)

I just think that if this was originally her Countdown or whatever, and I took over, and I changed a rule that I didn't like, she'd probably say something about it, too, if it bothered her. But I don't know if I'd go and cancel the whole thing over it. I'd like to think that I'd respect her feelings because it was originally her project and I was trying to change something. It's not like it's over a MASSIVE change or anything. There's probably LOTS of changes she could do to this thing and I encouraged her before I made this thread that she could try new stuff. I worried about even making this thread because of that. BUT I do disagree with officially keeping off all alternate accounts. I'm sick of the anti-alternate accounts feelings around here. It offends my TransMoFoism.
