The Spy (2019)

A 6 part miniseries produced by Netflix that was put up all at once on Sept. 6th.

It's a true life story of the Israeli double agent, Eli Cohen, whose spying resulted in a swift victory for Israel in the Six Day War.

Sacha Baron Cohen stars as the master spy in a surprisingly good and believable portrayal. Cohen is reportedly finished with his gonzo satire, and will concentrate on more traditional projects

There is a very nice supporting role from Noah Emmerich of The Americans fame. Emmerich also surprises as a more assertive Israeli handler. He almost always remembers to use the proper accent..:)

Hadar Ratzon Rotem, who I'm unfamiliar with, but who delivers a fine performance as Cohen's wife, rounds out the featured actors.

The series is well produced, and holds one's interest. I've watched the first three episodes, and am impressed.
