Movie based on a true story based in the 1900's?
 

Hey all,
I am curious if anyone knows the name of an upcoming movie that apparently was in development recently which was about one man (i totally forgot who), was based in the 1900's or 1920's, and is called something like "something man" (i only remember the man part).

Looks close but, it was being filmed in either late 2013 or the first quarter of 2014. Thanks though.

That one looks good but, I think the movie might have been based in the 40's or 50's

I know, but that's still not it, don't want to get you overwhelmed over this lol but, it's about one American man. I think i remember his story being that he was thrown in prison for some reason, and after he died he was looked at as a hero. I swear I remember looking at a video on Youtube of the filming, showing him walking across a road with an old car from the 40's driving by him. I just don't remember what his name was, and what the name of the movie was going to be.
