Re: old movie

When you say 'old movie', can you be more precise? (1930's....60's....80's...for example).

Some aviator movies for you to consider:
Blaze of Noon (1947)
The Great Waldo Pepper (1975)
The aviator (1985) - Christopher Reeve

(I don't know if the scene you recall is from one of these films....just a few I found through a google search).

'plaaater' sound like platter? what would that refer to - a person?

Would the planes have two wings - biplane? Open cockpits?

I've changed the thread title to be more descriptive, per the warning beneath the title field:

there two main actors one of them is bigger and the other is a bit skinny he is the one called platter( i remmeber because he use to shout out his name always) am guesing its 50s or 60s movie. im not sure but its the small planes with a one propeller in front

the skinny one was the smarter one always had plan and the bigger one was the muscle but occasionally fought each other then next day they were friends again. I remember a scene towards the end they crash in a mountain and had to fix the lil plane and create a mechanism like a sling shot coz there was no run way and shot the them selves of the mountain

When you described the characters as big/small, I thought of the Trinity movies with Terence Hill and Bud Spencer especially since it's a comedy.

All the Way Boys
