Kitch's Top 100

I had originally intended on making a top 50 list. However, when I began about four hours ago, I realized that I would not be able to choose only 50 films when there is close to a thousand I'd love to include, so I decided to give 100 a shot. I looked through my IMDb ratings to come up with my top 100, and then put them all into flickchart and tried to order them. I'd say the margin of error is about +/- 7, with those closer to 1 being more accurate than those further to 1.

Starting at the end of my list, here's 100:

Arlington Road (1999)

99: Homicide (1991)

98: Signs (2002)

97: V for Vendetta (2006)

96: Wes Craven's New Nightmare (1994)

95: The Net (1995)

94: Fight Club (1999)

The choices will get more interesting pretty soon.

I repped for those two as well. And Wild Strawberries as well. (I was posting as that post came in) That's probably my personal favorite of Bergman's. I have a lot of love for that movie.

I've only seen about seven or eight of his movies, of which Autumn Sonata and Wild Strawberries are the only two to have made this list. Come to think of it, The Passion of Anna probably deserved a spot, but so do countless others.

Can it be? Is the lost art of the Top 100 not totally gone? :D

But Vertigo, hell yeah! I'd rank it much higher though, around... I don't know... #1?

Cool list so far. Lots of films, both contemporary and old(er), that I haven't encountered on many top 100 lists here, if any.

I take pride in my "bizarre" tastes. I'm sure, also, that I've seen movies nobody else on here has seen. Måske ku vi just barely missed on making this list, but I'd be surprised if anybody else on this forum was familiar with it.
