I'm in. Just gotta figure out what I'm going to nominate.

Re: 20th Hall of Fame

I do believe I'll be going with a classic that has had zero presence in this, as I was previously considering.

Nomination sent.

And also cool, I'll go look at my PMs, I have no idea what you went with.

John-Connor 10-01-19 02:24 PM

Narrowed my possible noms down to 3, can't decide.:confusedwhite:

ahwell 10-01-19 03:14 PM

I’ve narrowed mine down to 33 :) and finally decided to just randomly generate one from my options because I couldn’t choose.

Edit: I “generated” and it’s an animation, hope everyone’s okay with that.

Re: 20th Hall of Fame

Also... just to confirm anyone can host these? I thought that whoever won the last one has to host the next one, since I saw Siddon won 17th, hosted 18th, Edarsenal won 18th hosted 19th. Just to confirm, I’m definitely NOT volunteering to host, just curious how it works.

John-Connor 10-01-19 03:52 PM

Just checked, one of my possible noms has already won A Specialty hof, so that one's out..

Sent my nomination.

Siddon 10-01-19 04:53 PM

I also sent my nomination in, once again I chose a film predicated on it's anniversary

Pretty much anyone can volunteer to host a HoF, and we do go by volunteers; but that is a pretty cool coincidence how the the last few worked out that way.

Frightened Inmate No. 2 10-01-19 06:52 PM

haven't participated since the 8th hof but i miss having a structure to my movie-watching habits. i'm in

You've been watching some pretty great movies from what I seen in Rate the Last Movie You Saw thread, so anything you go with will probably be good:)

It's totally fine. I can't say what your nom is but it's a good one.

That's a long time since your last HoF...yeah for sure you should join, just send me your movie nomination when you have one.

Re: 20th Hall of Fame

How long do these usually take to complete? I have a lot of free time coming up at the end of the month (endless days of movie watching) but wouldn't get to too many movies in this month.

Standard is one week per nomination. So if, for example, ten people sign up, that's ten movies and ten weeks to get it done.
