There has been talk of a third installment following the release of Shanghai Knights, with Jackie Chan teasing that the third movie may be set in Egypt. But everything is yet to be seen. Further details and cast is yet to be released.

The first two were kind of funny. This might be fun also, but I'd probably wait until Netflix to stream it.

I did like the first one back in the day, but was ultimately indifferent to the second one. I also think this looks like something I'd watch but not necessarily pay to see in theatres. Hopefully it's better than Rush Hour 3, but that's a very slim thread of hope.

10 years ago I'd have been really up for this. I loved Shanghai Noon and enjoyed the sequel from what I can remember. And at the time I was really looking forward to Shanghai Dawn, which back then was apparently going to take place in China. It seemed like it was dead though and I'm really surprised to see there may well be some life in it. I just think too much time may have passed though.
