Well, they certainly exist. But the only one I can think of now is ‘The Fourth Protocol’ 1987.

In ‘Entangled’ 1993, he’s a villain but I don’t think he died.

Are you looking for a movie where his character is good at the beginning, but then becomes a villain later in the movie and gets killed?

If so, I'm pretty sure Don't Talk to Strangers (1994) fits that description. It's a TV movie, but his character becomes the villain late in the movie, and dies at the end. (According to Wikipedia, it's also known as Dangerous Pursuit.)
