French comedy/movie movie
 

Hi everyone, currently searching to find this movie that I watched many years ago.

The movie plot is about a disfunctional family whose father was diagnosed with terminal cancer. So he pretty much tries to fix the family and unite them during the whole movie.

One of the scenes that I recall is the father and his son discussing on a bar which was the best guitar solo and after a disagreement with the son, the father opinates that his Free Bird from Lynyrd Skynyrd.

I cant day for sure what would be the year, but I watched it 10+ years ago (it could be older than this) and language was French.

Other than those fragments, really cant recall much. From my attempts to google it just failed miserably.

The Barbarian Invasions might be it. It is French-Canadian, so that might have kept you from finding it.
