Have only seen two of the films.

Seen three so far (Dunkirk, Get Out, Three Billboards). Might have missed Call Me By Your Name, and I'm not really interested in Darkest Hour. Will try and check out Lady Bird, Phantom Thread & Shape Of Water. On the fence on The Post.

I’ve seen 3. Do I win?

I've only seen

Dunkirk
Get Out
Lady Bird
Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri

Can't believe Get Out is up for so many awards. Extremely average movie.

I agree. I thought it was good, but not great if you know what I mean.

Only seen Get Out so far and it seems silly that it’s nominated.

Wow I've actually seen 6. I feel sort of ahead of everyone this year.

Seen all but The Post and Call Me By Your Name. My heart is torn between Thread and Dunkirk. I will wait to vote.

Three Billboards seems to be the likely winner, but I'm voting for The Shape of Water. Three Billboards will not sweep the top awards. It's already got Original Screenplay, Best Actress and Best Supporting Actor in the bag.

I know it's the favorite, but I'll be surprised if Billboards win Best Pic. Upset is coming just like Moonlight and Argo.

How was Argo an upset? Because it didn't get a Directing nom?

It swept every single precursor there was to sweep. It was an awards' season juggernaut.

I've seen everything but Phantom Thread. Unless it gets dethroned by the latter, Shape of Water is the winner for me. So surprised Get Out actually got the nomination, wasn't sure if it would.

It's so cool seeing a horror movie up for Best Picture.

Oh, and I've seen all of these.

Re: Oscars 2018 Best Picture

Loved Get Out, such a well written and expertly directed film.

I'm surprised that 3 Billboards is the favourite, it doesn't seem like a typical best picture film, more like a Best Screenplay film.
