Favourite movie soundtrack?

What is your favourite movie soundtrack?

I think the songs/music used in Donnie Darko was second to none, especially the opening track of the movie
"the killing moon" by Echo and the bunnymen.
Real shame they couldn't afford to use these songs in an official soundtrack we could have bought. Saying that, the score is quite good, which you can buy.

I will have to agree with you Pidd, I own that soundtrack and it's really good.

Wedding Singer soundtrack is also good:yup:

One soundtrack that I was a bit disappointed in is Ghost Dog - The Soundtrack by RZA. The score of the film is brilliant and the songs on the cd are based on the score but is not even close to the marvellous things you hear when you see the film. That's probably one of the best scores ever.

MY vote definitely goes to either Wayne's World 1 or 2. They both have a lot of classic tunes. And they really match with the feel of the movies.

Caitlyn 06-19-03 12:10 PM

Nope… sorry… :) I have both movies on Video and DVD (still need to pick up the re-mix of Empire though)… and I have the Empire soundtrack which led me to buy all of Toad the Wet Sprocket’s CD’s because of their song Crazy Life (do you know what that song is about?)… and I also have the Dazed and Confused soundtrack plus More Dazed and Confused… I grew up on all those songs… especially Alice Cooper and Lynyrd Skynyrd… My Dad was a major fan of both… :D
