That reminds me of the time I found a DVD of American Psycho II once which quoted an IMDb review giving it "10 out of 10!". That's desperate.

TBF Pyro, everyone's got some crap in their collections. Whether they're films bought blind, crap films you just happen to like or a difference of opinions.

Of the films you left, I'd trim that down to 15 (not including The Simpsons) and I'm sure someone would disagree with those selections too. Wait until my collection goes up.

Re: Jerry Shaw's DVD Collection

Hey, i'm not disagreeing, even admitted to owning some of the ones i cut out. Just if you post your collection you have to expect some flack, especially when its inundated with crap. Learn and grow. Just need to know which ones are which.

Every last person on this movie lovin' planet loves at least one film, that someone else thinks is crap. It's a good thing that doesn't mean anything.
You love them, and enjoy them for yourself. I take great pride in my movie collection. I own numerous movies that are considered crap. I own numerous movies that are considered great. Then again . . . I own numerous movies! :p

Straight up, Pyro has quite a few that I wouldn't go past looking at the nasty picture he posted of them in his top 100 thread. Loads of gore equals crap, in my opinion, and throwing up doesn't equal horror.

See there . . . It's all opinion. ;)

Jerry I think you have a cool collection and if it is full of DVDs you think are great, well that is all that counts dude. When I posted my collection up I had quite allot of "Flak" but it is possitive critisism and from people giving thier opinions it has led to me getting a wider selection of movies and love of film.

I just hope you end up fleshing out that 100 years... 100 movies list over your time here. 6 out of 100 isn't very good. I'm sure you will though, and you seem like a smart person and I'm sure your taste will grow and expand :yup:.

Blade Runner and 2001 are excellent starts.

Yes? Does it really matter if i like the movie, maybe because you don't like it, doesn't mean you have to act like it's that bad.

I know 6 out of 100 isn't that great, but i've only really got into older and ''classic'' movies in the last month or so, that's why it is slow low.

I plan too, that is also why i have been making threads about asking people to suggest me movies, i want to expand my collection, and my views on movies.
