"Fresh off last year’s The Endless, which came in the wake of fan favorites Resolution and Spring as well as the “Bonestorm” segment of our own V/H/S: Viral, Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead are back with Synchronic, a brand new sci-fi thriller that’s coming soon.

Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan are leading the cast, and Entertainment Weekly brings us the very first image of the duo in the film today. You can check it out below.

The film is produced by David Lawson Jr., who produced The Endless, along with Benson and Moorhead for Rustic Films. The script was written by Benson."

Saw this last night. Good film. Similar vibe to The Endless and the other Moorhead stuff we've seen. Don't go in expecting a full blown Primer-style puzzle or anything. There's some satisfying sci-fi stuff (and some great "finally, a character that does X instead of Y" stuff), but ultimately it's just a really well-acted, well-made drama with a good sci-fi hook. Definitely recommended, and a must-see if you've liked this team's work so far. Anthony Mackie is really, really good in this.

Huge crush on Jamie Dornan. So handsome. Mackie is too. :)
