The After They Were Famous Game
This is the polar opposite of The Before They were Famous Game. Post a picture of a star today who was most famous as a child or teenager. I'll start:

So is the game to guess who this is?
|

https://www.marinatimes.com/wp-conte...Jarman-now.jpg I don't really recognize him, but for some reason, I'm picturing him as a kid with blond hair. Maybe the kid from Lassie? |
I had a feeling someone was going to think this was Timmy, but it's not so I'm going give a major clue:
He was the star of a classic 1946 film in which he shared most of his scenes with an animal, but it wasn't a dog. He appeared in nine more films going practically unnoticed. His last acting job was in the 1979 NBC mini-series Centennial. |

Roddy McDowell was in a movie with a horse, but that's definitely not him. And I think Clint Howard was in something with a bear, but I don't know if that was a movie or a TV series, and I'm sure that's not him anyway. |
Clint Howard was in a TV series with a bear called Gentle Ben. It is not Old Yeller and it is not My Friend Flicka. I'll go ahead and tell you the animal in question was not a dog or a horse.

OK, I want to get this game moving, so I'm going to post a shot of him when he was famous. If that doesn't help. I'll reveal tomorrow and post a new one:

OK, I guess this one was a little too hard. I'm going to go ahead and reveal that the actor is Claude Jarman, Jr, who won a special juvenile Oscar for his performance in the 1946 classic The Yearling:

He had the title role in a sitcom that premiered in 1959 and ran for four seasons.

I've never seen The Yearling, and I've never heard of Claude Jarman, Jr., so I had no chance to get that one. |
OK, here's another hint: The TV series was re-thought as a movie in 1993 with Walter Matthau playing one of the main characters.

You might need a little help on this one...this actor's career was courtesy of his appearance in several Walt Disney films.
