They all deserved to win the best picture that year.

Then the Lion King one of the best animated movies ever.
Prime Jim Carrey: Dumb and Dumber, Ace Venture and The Mask.
Hoop Dreams was a great and innovative documentary.

Chungking Express 1994 ‘重慶森林’ Wong Kar-wai (first time viewing)

Two unconventional inner city love stories that take place in Hong Kong during the 1990s. Features some cool classic tunes, clever story delivery and an engaging atmosphere. The first story is definitely my favorite of the two. Overall nowhere near In The Mood For Love on my 'Foreign Films' list.
